STEM Voyager supports schools to build students’ 21st-century learning skills while simultaneously building teacher capability, through in-class professional development delivered by an experienced STEM trainer.

STEM Voyager provides embedded coaching, where teachers learn in their own classrooms, with their own students, using real curriculum content.

Option 1: Pilot Pack + In-Class Coaching

Try a 21st-Century STEM Lesson with Live Teacher Support

The Pilot Pack allows schools to trial a high-impact STEM lesson while teachers receive hands-on coaching from an experienced STEM educator during lesson delivery.

What’s included

  • 1–3 STEM mission kits
  • One structured, curriculum-aligned lesson
  • Student worksheets and skills-based assessment rubric
  • In-class professional development session, including:
    • Modelling of inquiry-based teaching strategies
    • Support with classroom management during hands-on STEM
    • Guidance on questioning, scaffolding, and reflection

  • 1–2 sequenced STEM lessons

  • Common assessment rubrics aligned to 21st-century skills
  • Multiple in-class coaching sessions, delivered by an experienced STEM trainer:
    • Co-teaching and lesson modelling

The Year-Level Program supports schools to implement a coherent, long-term strategy for teaching 21st-century skills, underpinned by ongoing professional development and coaching.

  • Multiple STEM missions delivered across a term or year
  • Whole-year planning and curriculum mapping
  • Student workbooks and common assessment rubrics
  • Scheduled in-class professional development cycles, including:
    • Classroom modelling by an experienced STEM trainer
    • Co-planning and co-teaching with staff
    • Observation, feedback, and reflection sessions
  • Optional staff meetings or twilight PD sessions
  • Support with data collection on student skills development
