About Us
About STEMVoyager
At STEMVoyager, we believe learning should be an adventure — one that sparks curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
Our mission is simple: to turn everyday learning into hands-on discovery through curriculum-aligned STEM kits that kids love to build and explore.
Born from years of classroom experience and a passion for practical learning, we’ve seen how children light up when they can touch, test, and truly understand the science behind the world around them.
Our Story
Hi, we’re Hannes and Maggel Bernhardt. After living and teaching in Albany, Western Australia for more than 15 years, we launched STEMVoyager to bring the excitement of hands-on STEM learning into homes and classrooms across Australia.
We’ve witnessed firsthand how powerful this approach can be. At Little Grove Primary School, we ran after-school STEM clubs where students designed, built, and experimented together — learning through doing, not memorising. One of our proudest moments was mentoring students in the Schools Solar Challenge, where they engineered and raced their own solar-powered creations. Seeing their faces light up with discovery reminded us why we started this journey.
What We Do
Every STEMVoyager kit is designed to make learning tangible and fun. Each includes:
- Laser-cut wooden models and accessories
- Step-by-step assembly guides
- Curriculum-aligned lesson plans and marking rubrics
These aren’t just toys — they’re complete STEM learning experiences for Years 3–4, built to support both teachers in classrooms and parents at home.
Our goal is to make STEM education practical, engaging, and measurable — helping kids not only learn how things work but also imagine how to make them better.
Our Mission
To inspire the next generation of thinkers, builders, and problem-solvers by connecting curiosity with real-world skills.
Because when learning is hands-on, understanding lasts a lifetime.
