Protractor

What is it?
A protractor is a tool shaped like a half-circle (180°) or full circle (360°), marked with degrees (°). Engineers, builders, and scientists use it to measure or draw angles.

Where do I use it?

• Pitching Machine – Measure launch angles and compare how angle changes affect distance.
• Hydraulic Loader – Test lifting arms at different angles to understand force and stability.

Why is it important?
Angles are everywhere — from bridges and cranes to rockets and satellites. A protractor helps students understand how direction and tilt can completely change outcomes in engineering.
